Union Cabinet approves deepening and optimisation of inner harbour facilities at Paradip port

The union cabinet approved the deepening and optimisation of inner harbour facilities, including the development of the a western dock on a build-operate-transfer basis to handle Capesize vessels at Paradip port. The project is estimated to cost Rs 30.05 billion. Following this, the Paradip Port Trust invited global request for qualification (RfQ) bids for the project. The last date for the submission of RfQ bids is February 18, 2021.
