The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs has further postponed the implementation and go-live date of the Sea Cargo Manifest and Transshipment Regulations from October 1, 2020 to March 31, 2021. The deadline was earlier extended to August 1, 2020 and then to September 30, 2020. The extension comes in view of the disruptions caused by the Covid-19 pandemic and the non-readiness of stakeholders.
