Swan Energy acquires India’s first FSRU to commission Jafrabad terminal

Swan Energy Limited has recently acquired a floating storage and regasification unit (FSRU) named Vasant 1, moving forward with its plans of setting up the country’s first FSRU-based liquefied natural gas (LNG) port near Jafrabad in Gujarat. The FSRU, with 180,000 cubic metres of storage capacity, is the first Indian-owned and Indian flag FSRU and will be used for storage and regasification of LNG.
