The Punjab government has laid the foundation stone for the 24×7 Patiala water supply scheme project. The Rs 5.03 billion project, being implemented by the Punjab Water Supply and Sewerage Board, involves providing 24×7 drinking water supply to Patiala city in Punjab on a design-build-operate-transfer basis in the public-private partnership mode under the Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation.
