Bids for 24×7 Manimajra water supply project to be re-invited soon

Chandigarh Smart City Limited (CSCL) is likely to reinvite bids for the 24×7 Manimajra water supply project soon. Construction work on the project was expected to commence in September 2020, however, the project has been facing delays as the minimum number of bids was not received. The project is being implemented at Manimajra in Chandigarh in two phases on a pilot basis at an estimated cost of Rs 1.63 billion. The Municipal Corporation of Chandigarh has incorporated CSCL as a special purpose vehicle for implementation of the project under the Smart Cities Mission.
