HNB Engineers wins contract for various sewerage works in Faridabad

HNB Engineers Private Limited has won a contract worth Rs 2.48 billion for tapping domestic sewage including construction of sewage treatment plants (STPs) in Faridabad in Haryana. Bids were invited by the Faridabad Municipal Corporation in July 2020. The scope of work is divided into three packages. Package 1 involves the construction of an STP with a capacity of 100 million litres per day (mld) at Pratapgarh. Package 2 involves the construction of one intermediate pumping station with a capacity of 45 mld peak flow at the Sector 25 disposal point whereas Package 3 involves the construction of an 80 mld STP at Mirzapur, amongst other works. The work is expected to be completed in 24 months and O&M is for a period of six years.
