Government inaugurates railway projects in Bihar

The central government has inaugurated a number of railway projects in Bihar. These include the Katihar-New Jalpaiguri rail section under the Barauni-Katihar-Guwahati railway electrification project; the Samastipur-Darbhanga-Jaynagar and Samastipur-Khagaria sections under the Samastipur-Khagaria, Darbhanga-Jaynagar and Raxaul-Samastipur railway electrification project; the Kiul rail bridge under the Kiul-Gaya line doubling project; the Hajipur-Vaishali-Sagauli new railway line project; the Kosi river bridge; the Saharsa-Asanpur Kupha and Saharsa-Saraigarh-Raghopur rail sections under the Sakri-Laukaha Bazar-Nirmali and Saharsa-Forbesganj gauge conversion project; and the Shivanarayanpur-Bhagalpur section under the Bonidanga-Barharwa-Sahibganj-Kiul railway electrification project.
