Cconstruction work on the Vijaypur-Maksi railway electrification project has been completed. The project involved electrification of the 188 km Vijaypur-Maksi railway line in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, at an investment of Rs 1.95 billion. It was completed in two phases – the 100 km Vijaypur-Pachor section (Phase I) and the 88 km Pachor-Maksi section (Phase II). The project was implemented by RITES Limited.
