Vistara to delay taking delivery of some aircraft

Vistara is in talks with aircraft manufacturers and leasing companies to delay taking delivery of some aircraft. The development comes in view of the low air travel demand due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Earlier, in 2018, Vistara had placed an order of 13 A320-neo family aircraft with Airbus SE and 37 Airbus planes with leasing companies. All these planes are due for delivery between 2019 and 2023. In addition, the airline had also ordered six B787-9 Dreamliner wide-body planes, due for delivery in 2020 and 2021.
