A new regular shipping service has started between the Kolkata Dock System (KDS) and Chattogram port, Bangladesh, through the Indo-Bangladesh Protocol Route with effect from July 3, 2020. The service is operated by Zim Integrated Services in association with Bengal Tiger Line. In its maiden voyage, the vessel M.V. Asiatic Moon (Singapore flag) carried 300 containers of Indian exports with the primary goods being ferro metal alloys and garments.
