Bharti Infratel extends Indus Towers merger deadline to end-August 2020

Bharti Infratel has extended the deadline of its merger with Indus Towers by over two months to end August 2020. With regard to this, the company’s board of directors recently met to discuss the status of the merger. During the meeting it was noted that since the conditions precedent to be fulfilled for the merger could not be completed by June 24, 2020, the deadline would be extended to August 31, 2020. The final decision to implement the merger will be taken by the board keeping in mind the best interests of the company and its stakeholders.
