Oberoi-A&M Infra consortium to provide funds for Chembur-BKC stretch of Mumbai metro, Line 2B

The Oberoi-A&M Infra consortium along with RCC Infra Ventures Limited is likely to provide funds worth Rs 1 billion for the Chembur-Bandra Kurla Complex stretch of the Mumbai metro, Phase I, Line 2B project (DN Nagar-Mankhurd-Mandale). Earlier, civil works for the stretch were awarded to the Mostobudivelnyi Zahin and RCC Infra Ventures Limited JV. However, the contract was terminated by the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority due to a delay in execution and fresh bids were invited in February 2020 for balance works. The project aims to connect DN Nagar to Mandale near Mankhurd in Maharashtra spanning a length of 23.6 km and entailing an investment of Rs 109.7 billion. It will be entirely elevated and will have a total of 22 stations.
