NCRTC commences pre-construction work on Sarai Kale Khan-Panchgaon stretch of Delhi-Alwar RRTS, Phase I

The National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) has commenced pre-construction work on the Sarai Kale Khan-Panchgaon stretch of the Delhi-Gurgaon-Rewari-Alwar regional rapid transit system (RRTS) project, Phase I. The project involves the development of a 106 km RRTS corridor connecting Delhi, Rewari and the Shahjahanpur-Neemrana-Behror Urban Complex (SNB) in the states of Delhi, Haryana and Rajasthan at an investment of Rs 249.75 billion. It will originate from the Sarai Kale Khan Terminus station in Delhi and will pass through dense regions of Delhi, Gurugram, Rewari and SNB and will consist of a total of 16 stations (11 elevated and five underground). The project will be developed in three stages and is likely to be completed in five years.
