UPMRC plans six additional metro corridors under Lucknow metro

The Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation is planning to add six metro corridors under the Lucknow metro project. The corridors are the Secretariat-CG City South corridor, the Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport-Atal Bihari Vajpayee Stadium corridor, the Indira Nagar-Atal Bihari Vajpayee Stadium corridor, the Charbagh-Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute metro station corridor, the Indian Institute of Management Lucknow-Rajajipuram station corridor and the Munshipullia-Jankipuram corridor. At present, three corridors – North-South corridor (Amausi to Munshipullia, 22.87 km), East-West corridor (Charbagh to Vasant Kunj, 11.2 km) and Gomti Nagar link (3.54 km) – are being developed under the project.
