Telcos extend validity of prepaid plans to enable people to remain connected during lockdown

Vodafone Idea, Reliance Jio and Bharti Airtel have extended the validity of their prepaid plans, availed by low-income customers till May 3, 2020. Further, the two telcos have credited Rs 10 in the prepaid account of these users. While Vodafone Idea has done this for 100 million users, Airtel has taken these measures for 80 million. Moreover, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited has extended the validity and talktime periods for its prepaid mobile users till May 5, 2020.
