The cabinet has approved three key schemes to boost electronics and components manufacturing exports and production in the country. These schemes envisage a total outlay of Rs 480.42 billion. They are the Production-Linked Incentive Scheme, the Scheme for Promotion of Manufacturing of Electronics Components and Semiconductors and Electronics Manufacturing Clusters 2.0.
