Telangana government grants administrative sanction for water supply project to peripheral areas of GHMC

The Telangana government has granted administrative sanction for the Augmentation of Water Supply to Six Peripheral Areas of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation Project. Construction work on the project is likely to commence by April 2020. The project, being implemented by the Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board, involves improvement of the water supply network in six peripheral circles in Medak district of Telangana at an estimated cost of Rs 2.8 billion. It is expected to be completed by December 2020.
