Tata Motors completes delivery of India’s first LNG fuelled bus order

Tata Motors has completed the delivery of India’s first liquefied natural gas (LNG)-fuelled bus order. The auto manufacturer has delivered four Starbus LNG models to LNG Petronet Limited, with two each delivered in Dahej, Gujarat, and Kochi, Kerala. The automaker first showcased an LNG bus at Auto Expo 2020. Tata Motors claims that these 36-seater LNG buses reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 30 per cent as compared to those using conventional fuels. The LNG buses have been indigenously developed by the automaker.
