The Paradip-Hyderabad pipeline project being executed by Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) is at an advanced stage of completion. The Rs 38 billion project linking the Paradip refinery in Odisha and Hyderabad city will enhance the oil major’s leverage in terms of fuel supplies in Telangana. The pipeline will terminate at IOCL’s new petroleum terminal coming up in Malkapur on a 69.35 acre site. The terminal, with a storage capacity of 180,000 kilolitres, is being developed at an investment of Rs 6.11 billion and will be ready in 18 months. The 1,212 km Paradip-Hyderabad petroleum product pipeline passes through Odisha, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
