MoEFCC grants environmental and CRZ clearance for mega container terminal project at Deendayal port

The MoEFCC has granted environmental clearance and coastal regulation zone clearance for the mega container terminal project at Tuna-Tekra at Deendayal port. The scope of work of the project involves setting up of a mega container terminal at Tuna-Tekra on a build-operate-transfer (BOT) basis. The project will have a capacity of 2.19 million twenty-foot equivalent units (TEUs).
