TRAI issues consultation paper on fixing floor price for voice and data services

TRAI has issued a consultation paper on fixing a floor price for voice and data services on telecom networks. Through the paper, the regulator has sought stakeholder views on the methodology to fix a floor price, whether it should be determined for each operator separately or should there be a uniform price for telecom services and what the mark-up over the cost should be to fix the price.
