MoU signed between Delhi Development Authority, Rail Land Development Authority and Indian Railway Station Development Corporation for redevelopment of Anand Vihar and Bijwasan stations

An MoU was signed between the Delhi Development Authority, the Rail Land Development Authority and Indian Railway Station Development Corporation Limited on December 19, 2019 for the redevelopment of the Anand Vihar and Bijwasan railway stations. The projects involve redevelopment of the Anand Vihar and Bijwasan railway stations in Delhi on an engineering, procurement and construction basis at an investment of Rs 2.06 billion and Rs 3.1 billion respectively. The scope of the projects includes upgrading the level of passenger amenities by new constructions and renovations including redevelopment of the station buildings, platform surfaces, circulating area, etc., to improve the standards and meet passenger expectations.
