KIIFB releases funds worth Rs 3.2 billion for Kasaragod-Thiruvananthapuram road project

The Kerala Infrastructure Investment Fund Board (KIIFB) has released funds worth Rs 3.2 billion as the first instalment to the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) for acquisition of land for the Kasaragod-Thiruvananthapuram highway project. The funds have been disbursed as a part instalment of the total grant of Rs 52 billion to NHAI. The authority is implementing the project on the hybrid annuity model (HAM). The project involves six-laning of the 565 km Kasaragod-Thiruvananthapuram highway in Kerala at an investment of Rs 440 billion.
