Indian major ports handled 463.07 mt of traffic during April-December 2019

During April-December 2019-20, the Indian major ports handled 524.03 million tonnes (mt) of traffic, compared to 518.94 mt in the corresponding period of 2018-19, registering an increase of 0.98 per cent. Deendayal port (erstwhile Kandla port) handled the maximum traffic at 92.41 mt, followed by Paradip port (83.62 mt) and Visakhapatnam port (53.54 mt).
