Delhi government launches Delhi Electric Vehicle Policy 2019

The Delhi government has released the latest draft of the Delhi Electric Vehicle Policy, 2019. Under the policy, the government is targeting 500,000 new electric vehicle (EV) registrations in Delhi. The policy aims to bring 25 per cent of the total number of new vehicle registrations to “electric only” by 2025. As part of the policy, the road tax and registration fee for EVs will be waived for early adopters.
