Bangladesh government removes restrictions on importing nine local products from land ports in Tripura

The Bangladesh government has removed port restrictions on importing nine local products from the two land ports in Tripura. The trade of commodities has been allowed through the Agartala-Akhaura integrated check-post and the Srimantapur land customs station. The nine products on which the restriction was removed from December 1, 2019 are cashew nut, paper, sugar, generators, broken glass, chocolates, baby wipes, confectionery and bitumen.
