The MoRTH has postponed the date of compulsory implementation of FASTag on national highway toll plazas to December 15, 2019. The earlier date was December 1, 2019. Double user fee will charged from vehicles that enter the FASTag lane without a FASTag with effect from December 15, 2019. Besides, FASTags will continue to be provided free of cost till December 15, 2019.
