According to the communications ministry, three industry bodies – the Cellular Operators Association of India, the Internet Service Providers Association of India and the Virtual Network Operators Association of India – have submitted a joint proposal to DoT for providing seamless and interoperable internet and broadband services through public Wi-Fi hotspots.
