The central government inaugurated Gulbarga airport in Karnataka on November 22, 2019. With this, commercial operations at the airport have commenced and the first flight from Bengaluru landed at the aerodrome the same day. The airport was developed by the public works department at an investment of Rs 1.75 billion with AAI’s technical expertise.
