Vistara has signed an agreement with CFM International for the purchase of 26 Leap-1A engines worth $2.4 billion to power 13 of its new A320neos. The agreement also includes a long-term rate per flight hour agreement for maintenance of 120 Leap-1A engines to power 60 aircraft that are either in service or for which orders have been placed. These new 13 A320neo aircraft are in addition to the 37 leased A320neos that the carrier had ordered from Airbus in July 2018.
