Gujarat government gives go ahead to development of CNG terminal at Bhavnagar port

The Gujarat government has given its nod to the development of a compressed natural gas (CNG) terminal at Bhavnagar port. To be jointly developed by UK-based Foresight Group and Mumbai-based Padmanabh Mafatlal Group, the terminal will have a capacity of 6 mtpa. Meanwhile, besides the CNG terminal, a roll-on, roll-off terminal, a liquid cargo terminal and a container terminal will also be developed at the port at a cumulative cost of Rs 19 billion.
