Four firms sign MoU for conducting joint feasibility study for petrochemical complex in Gujarat

The Adani Group and German chemical company BASF SE signed an MoU with the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) and Borealis AG for conducting a joint feasibility study for the development of the Gujarat petrochemical complex project (Mundra port) on October 18, 2019. The project involves the construction of a petrochemical production hub at Mundra port in Gujarat at a cost of Rs 284 billion. The scope of work includes development, construction and operation of plants producing propane dehydrogenation, oxo C4 complex (butanols and 2-ethylhexanol), glacial acrylic acid, butyl acrylate and other downstream products.
