Chettinad Mangalore Coal Terminal Private Limited (CMCTPL) has commenced commercial operations at the mechanised coal handling facility at New Mangalore port. The commencement of operations was marked by the arrival of a vessel, MV Yangze 8, on November 8, 2019. The terminal has been developed by CMCTPL at a cost of Rs 4.69 billion.
