KEC International secures orders worth Rs 22.55 billion

KEC International Limited, an RPG Group company, has secured five orders worth Rs 22.55 billion across various infrastructure sectors. The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation has awarded the contract for the construction of an elevated viaduct along with 10 stations under Phase IV of the Delhi metro project. The contract cost is Rs 8.53 billion.

The company has also secured a contract worth Rs 5.17 billion from Rail Vikas Nigam Limited for the construction of roadbeds, and major and minor bridges and associated civil works.

KEC has won three contracts worth Rs 8.85 billion in the power sector – Power Grid Corpor-ation of India Limited has awarded the contract for a 400 kV transmission line and substation under the tariff-based competitive bidding route, Tamil Nadu Transmission Corporation Limited has awarded the 765 kV transmission line project and Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited has awarded the contract for a 220 kV gas insulated substation along with associated overhead lines and cable works.
