The 22 km Dasna-Hapur section of the Delhi-Meerut Expressway (Package III) was inaugurated on September 30, 2019. Besides, the Ghazipur-Dasna section of the expressway (Package II) is expected to be completed in the next three months, while the entire Delhi-Meerut Expressway is expected to be opened for traffic within six months. The Delhi-Meerut Expressway project, connecting Delhi to Meerut in western Uttar Pradesh, is being implemented in four packages. About 20 per cent work has been completed on the Mumbai-Nagpur communication expressway project.
