VPT launches total logistics solutions to increase traffic throughput

The Visakhapatnam Port Trust (VPT) has launched end-to-end total logistics solutions to increase traffic handled at the port and thereby scale up its ranking to third position among the major ports in terms of cargo handled from its current fourth position. The total logistics solutions include monitoring wagon loading at mine heads and providing port services like unloading from rakes, storage of cargo and loading onto ships.
