Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (Powergrid) has secured an interstate transmission project under the tariff-based competitive bidding route. The project entails setting up of the transmission system associated with long-term access applications from the Rajasthan Solar Energy Zone, Part B, on a build-own-operate-maintain basis. The transmission system comprises a 765 kV double circuit line and associated bays to be established in Rajasthan.
