Kalpataru may sell four transmission lines to Adan

Kalpataru Power Transmission Limited is likely to sell four of its energy transmission lines to Adani Transmission Limited. The deal is expected to be valued between Rs 14 billion ($200.4 million) and Rs 15 billion ($214.7 million). Two of the lines that are currently operational are the 100 km Jhajjar line (Haryana) and the 240 km Satpura Range (Madhya Pradesh) line. The other two under-construction lines are the Alipurduar line for power transmission to Bhutan and the Kohima-Mariani line for improving the north-eastern electricity grid.
