The trial run on the 50 km Koderma-Rema section in Jharkhand was conducted on May 19, 2019. Besides, the CRS is likely to conduct safety inspection of the section soon. As part of the project, the 114 km long Giridih-Nawadih-Koderma railway line in Uttar Pradesh is being electrified at an estimated cost of Rs 1.13 billion.
