National Mission for Clean Ganga signs agreement with VA Tech Wabag

The National Mission for Clean Ganga signed a concession agreement with VA Tech Wabag Limited for the construction of STPs at Howrah, Bally, Baranagar and Kamarhati in West Bengal on June 5, 2019. The scope of work involves the supply and construction of new STPs with a total capacity of 165 mld – Howrah (65 mld), Bally (40 mld) and Baranagar and Kamarhati 60 (mld), renovation and upgradation of existing STPs and the rehabilitation of pumping stations. The project was awarded to VA Tech at a cost of Rs 5.92 million.
