GENMA secures order for 200 t/h mobile pneumatic ship unloader from Guangxi

Jiangsu Rainbow Heavy Industries Company Limited has secured the order for a 200 t/h mobile pneumatic ship unloader from Guangxi. The unloader will be used to unload and transship corn at the terminal.

With the improvement in terminal automation and the increasing focus on reducing environmental pollution, equipment with loud noise, high energy consumption, a high failure rate and low production efficiency are unable to meet production and environment protection needs of terminal and grain depots. However, the GENMA mobile pneumatic ship unloader focuses on solving loading, unloading and transshipment problems of various types of grain materials at the terminal or port. Its hermetically sealed transporting procedure, strong continuous operation ability, low noise and other characteristics are ideal for terminals with high environmental requirements. Further, the multistage turbine fan used in this product is highly efficient. After two years of repeated testing and the incorporation of the stimulation optimisation of EDEM Bulk-sim simulation software, the GENMA scraper ship unloader has achieved significant breakthrough in the areas of energy conservation and machine efficacy. Compared to the traditional grab ship unloader, the efficiency of the GENMA scraper ship unloader has improved by at least 25 per cent and unit energy consumption has decreased by 30 per cent.

Also, its material damage rate is less than 0.3 per cent and it automatically regulates flow, protects the pipeline, reduces equipment maintenance and increases operation lifespan. The GENMA mobile pneumatic ship unloader is transported in a closed state, thereby preventing exposure to dust, moisture, dirt, foreign matter and avoiding risk of spillage.

thyssenkrupp to deliver 155 elevators and 22 escalators for China Southern Airlines’ new Beijing airport base thyssenkrupp will supply 155 elevators and 22 escalators to China Southern Airlines’ new airport base at Beijing Daxing airport, which is currently under construction. Located in the south of Beijing, the airport’s main terminal will span an area of 7.5 million square feet, making it the largest terminal in the world. Daxing airport will also have the largest air traffic control centre, aircraft hangar and airline catering centre in Asia. The airport, spread across 62 hectares, is China Southern Airlines’ largest investment till date. In the first phase, the new airport will have the capacity to handle 45 million passengers, and this will eventually be increased to make it the largest airport worldwide in terms of passenger traffic.

Despite the tremendous scale of the main terminal, the elevators and escalators supplied by thyssenkrupp will ensure that it takes less than eight minutes to cover the distance from security to the farthest gates.
