Construction work on the Bandikui-Bharatpur railway electrification project and the Utretia-Rae Bareli-Amethi-Janghai railway electrification project has been completed. The Bandikui-Bharatpur railway line involved the electrification of a 95 km long railway line at an estimated cost of Rs 1.03 billion. The Utretia-Rae Bareli-Janghai section involved the electrification of a 210 km railway line at an investment of Rs 2.36 billion.
