TRAI releases consultation paper on reviewing terms and conditions for registration of OSPs

The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has released a consultation paper for reviewing terms and conditions for registration of other service providers (OSPs). Through the consultation paper, TRAI has sought stakeholder views on multiple aspects including the definition of application service in the context of OSPs, whether there is need for adoption of another regulatory framework that is different from the current registration process, period of validity for OSP registration, etc.
