Sprng Energy acquires Shapoorji Pallonji’s solar power assets

Actis LLP, through its renewable energy platform in India, Sprng Energy Private Limited, has completed the acquisition of 194 MW of operating solar power projects of Shapoorji Pallonji Solar Holdings Private Limited (SPSHPL). The value of the transaction is expected to be about Rs 13.85 billion. For the transaction, Standard Chartered and Credit Suisse were the investment bankers for Actis and SPSHPL respectively.
