Hindustan Infralog acquires controlling stake in Kribhco Infrastructure

Hindustan Infralog Private Limited (HIPL), a joint venture between DP World and the National Investment and Infrastructure Fund (NIIF), has announced the acquisition of a controlling stake worth Rs 10 billion in Kribhco Infrastructure Limited (KRIL). KRIL is a wholly owned subsidiary of Krishak Bharati Cooperative Limited. HIPL, the recently created investment vehicle, has been incorporated to invest up to $3 billion in ports, logistics and related sectors. The KRIL acquisition will be the third by HIPL. Earlier, in March 2018, HIPL acquired a 90 per cent stake in Continental Warehousing Corporation (Nhava Seva) Limited.
