Apple has begun manufacturing the iPhone 7 in Bengaluru for its Indian customers. The manufacturing is being done by Wistron, a Taiwanese contract manufacturer, that has also been manufacturing the iPhone SE and 6s models at its factory in Bengaluru. Meanwhile, Foxconn, another handset manufacturer, will reportedly begin commercial manufacturing of Apple’s iPhone X model at its 160 acre Chennai factory from July 2019.
