J. Kumar Infra Projects Limited (JKIL) has successfully completed the Ahmedabad metro project. The contract for the project was awarded to the company by the Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation in February 2015. The scope of work included construction of an elevated viaduct from Vastral Gram to Apparel Park, spanning a total length of 6.5 km. It also entailed construction of balance station work at the Nirant, Vastral and Rabari Colony stations. Each station consists of four staircases, two lifts and two escalators. The metro project was inaugurated on March 4, 2019.
