Indian major ports handled 633.87 mt of traffic during April-February 2019

During the first 11 months (April-February) of 2018-19, Indian major ports handled 633.87 million tonnes (mt) of traffic, as compared to 616.68 mt in the corresponding period of 2017-18, registering an increase of 2.79 per cent. Deendayal port (erstwhile Kandla port) handled the maximum traffic at 104.17 mt, followed by Paradip port (98.73 mt) and JNPT (64.18 mt).
