Hindon civilian terminal in Ghaziabad inaugurated

The central government inaugurated the new civilian terminal developed at the Hindon airbase in Ghaziabad on March 8, 2019. The airbase, jointly owned by the Indian Air Force and AAI, has been developed by AAI at a cost of Rs 400 million under the Regional Connectivity Scheme. As of now, four airlines – IndiGo, Heritage Aviation, Ghodawat Airlines and Turbo Aviation – will be providing connectivity from the airport. The civil enclave has a peak handling  capacity of 300 passengers.
