Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL) has launched the Super-Efficient Air Conditioning Programme for residential and institutional consumers in the areas served by BSES Rajdhani Power Limited (BRPL) in Delhi. Under the scheme, EESL will distribute air conditioners (ACs) that are 40 per cent more efficient than, but priced comparably with, 3-star ACs currently available in the market with an ISEER 3.8 rating. Under the 12-month pilot, BRPL will assist in aggregating demand and providing local marketing support to promote energy-efficient technologies in the areas it currently serves.
